Warding Off Wasps

Rolling into the last month of summer is bittersweet for most residents but it is also a tough time for wasps. Who cares how a bug feels, right? Well, cranky wasps make for an uncomfortable and dangerous environment. If these tiny terrors are lurking around your home or workplace, look no further than a Toodaloo technician. Our experts are trained to not only remove pests but to discourage them from coming back. For safe and effective wasp removal, one phone call does it all.

So, Why Now?

It is tough to ignore wasps and hornets. Just one of these stinging insects can scatter a picnic or empty out a patio. No one wants to get stung, but it becomes more of a reality as summer comes to a close. During the early days of summer, wasps are busy! Collecting food and creating a nest takes time, so it is no wonder that they fly under the radar. With full bellies and a completed home, wasps are known to wander. This is what brings insects to your front door. For them, it is just a day out on the town, but for property owners (especially those with allergies) it is a constant threat.

Safe Removal

Some insects are easy to treat with traps, baits or poisons. but wasps aren’t one of them. Trying to tackle a single wasp with a can of raid might work but a recurring problem requires a more aggressive approach. Nests, in particular, are a real issue. These structures can house hundreds - or thousands - of wasps at one time. As soon as even one of these winged tenants feels threatened, they come out stinging! Luckily for you, Toodaloo technicians have a plan to draw wasps out, so that nests are emptied and can then be removed. Even when nests are gone, nomadic members of the hive will come buzzing back. Treating the surrounding areas prevents nests from being rebuilt over night.

Wasps are one of the worst opponents that you could have, especially in large numbers. Don’t bother taking an unnecessary risk on amateur removal, when you can call an expert. Our Toodaloo technicians have all the necessary training and equipment to keep them safe while solving your problems.
