A Proud Canadian Company
Communities around the Thunder Bay area have been around for a long while. Newer high-rise apartments and office buildings are not uncommon but these concrete giants are not the only structures in town. For those smaller buildings and homes that are made from wood, termites might as well be the plague. If these demolition experts have entered your home call Toodaloo for your Thunder Bay termite extermination.
It is no secret that the Thunder Bay area has a lot of natural beauty and an ever-changing climate. This means that any property with a damp exterior can be a breeding ground for termites. Termite colonies usually begin in damp, rotting stumps and decaying wood. Unlike some other pests, termites never travel alone and prefer to remain in large groups or colonies. One stump or upturned log can act as a habitat for termites. Unfortunately, after a while their numbers will become too large to be contained. When it is time to spread out these numbers, it can mean trouble for you. They might begin their journey outdoors but termites are able to chew their way inside solid wood, entering homes.
Termites can chew their way in or enter through the regular avenues for pests, like opened windows, under door frames, or, can even be carried in. Something as innocent as a fire in winter can mean big trouble if you happen to grab an inhabited piece of wood. Once termites find their way in, they waste no time sneaking behind the scenes of your walls, cupboards and even take a bite out of your furniture.
A full-on termite infestation can take a long while to identify and you can bet that their populations grow every day. If you happen to track down on mini-colony behind a wall or under a floorboard, you can bet there are more lurking around. Because these pests are so good at hiding, our Toodaloo technicians had to get creative. Thermal imagining and injection rods are necessities when it comes to reaching those pests behind the scenes. When it is time for your Thunder Bay termite extermination, let our Toodaloo technicians help you take your property back from these pests.
Our Toodaloo technicians are fully trained in various methods of pest removal and extermination, capable of handling any job, of any size, professionally and efficiently.
