Worrying About Wasps

Wasps are just about the worst houseguests that you can have. These insect intruders are quick to ruin a picnic, soil sodas or just sting their unsuspecting hosts. As Spring rolls around, you can expect to see more and more of these flying pests. Catching a glimpse of a wasp every once in a while is one thing but if they begin to hang out around your home or commercial property, you might be dealing with a nest.

Ditch D.I.Y Methods

A single wasp might be enough to send you running, but imagine what a hundred of them can do? More than bothersome buzzing, a wasp sting can be fatal. There is no question that having wasp nests sitting around is a problem but getting rid of them can be even worse. Bug sprays and repellents might seem like the most appropriate tools for the job but a simple spray can lead to angry bugs and a dangerous environment.

When their home is threatened, wasps are quick to become aggressive. Trying to remove nests by hand can be seen as a threat, as can harsh chemical sprays. Chances are that these methods will not be enough to fully remove pest populations. That leaves behind angry wasps, potential stings and an ongoing problem but professional pest removal services can help!

The Toodaloo Technique to Wasp Removal

Instead of unleashing poison sprays and hoping for the best, Toodaloo technicians treat infestations in a multi-step approach in order to get the best results for our clients. The most common places for wasp nests are low traffic areas. Attics, garages, roof peaks and even gutters are all prime areas for these nests to hang or be secured. Difficult to reach areas mean mounting ladders in an attempt to reach nests. This is dangerous for anyone but our Toodaloo technicians have the proper safety equipment to keep themselves secure.

The first step to successful wasps removal is natural deterrents, used to push wasps out of nests. With these nests empty, they can be removed safely. Without a space to go back to, and an unappealing environment, wasps will quickly find a new place to call home. Each member of the Toodaloo team is fully insured to protect themselves and clients!
